Single-nave Romanesque church with a trefoil-shaped eastern apse. The two lateral apsidioles are small, while the central apse is more proportionate to the nave and connects to the apsidioles via a short presbytery section. The nave is covered by a barrel vault reinforced by two transverse arches, and at the western end, there is a similarly vaulted space. It might resemble a choir, although its liturgical function is uncertain, making it an unusual feature in Catalan Romanesque architecture. The entrance door, made with voussoirs, is located on the southern façade. A small, simple bell gable rises above the western façade, built after the original church. The exterior decoration includes Lombard arcading between lesenes on all three apses. The nave walls have been heightened. The church of Tragó appears in the tithe records of 1279. The temple has had other dedications: Santa Maria del Pla de Tragó and la Mare de Déu del Roser.
