This is another very enjoyable excursion, which can be enjoyed all year round. After leaving Castellciutat, the route will take walkers through the green pasturelands of Benavarre, at an altitude of 840 metres, to the village of Bellestar. This is a place of great beauty, surrounded by open meadowland. It is a setting where herds of cows pasture and from where it is possible to enjoy wide, panoramic views of Urgellet, Cadí and the majestic Orri peak. You should visit the hermitage of Sant Marc, which offers beautiful views and some truly unique features, which include the labyrinthine geological formations that are popularly known as the Set Inferns (Seven Hells) and, more formally, as the Carcaus.
