Geology itineraries of Alt Urgell

There are many caves in L’Alt Urgell, and especially in the central part of the comarca. The Cova de les Encantades (cave of the bewitched), which is rather hidden and little known, offers an interesting proposal for a beautiful route to a cave that provides shelter and also offers truly unique views of the Cadí sierra. After leaving Toloriu, follow a forest track that runs through woodland until it reaches the plans de Coll de Se plains. From there, continue your climb. After a slight descent, you will find marker stones that will lead you to the entrance of the cave. From there, you will be able to look out over the Vinyoles valley and enjoy tremendous views of Cadí.
