The church of Sant Miquel of Peramola has three naves with a central quadrangular apse and is the result of three distinct construction phases. The first phase occupies the southern part of the church and dates from the 14th century. Remains of this phase include the final sections of the two lateral naves, covered by pointed vaults, and the two chapels at the western end. In the late 16th century, the building was extended with a new apse oriented to the north. The third construction phase, from the late 17th century, added the current apse and a rectangular presbytery. A notable element is the Gothic-style funerary slab, carved around 1430, belonging to one of the barons of the Peramola lineage.
