Small Romanesque church with a nearly square single nave, ending to the east in a narrower rectangular section covered by a barrel vault. The entrance, a round-arched doorway with voussoirs, is located on the south façade near the southwest corner, which is topped by a simple single-opening bell-gable. The northwest corner was cut back to allow vehicle passage. The masonry is very irregular rubblework. A 1096 will records donations of income and land in the parish of Sant Martí, likely referring to Sant Martí de Biscarbó. During the 1575 pastoral visit, the inspector ordered an arrow slit to be opened to light the altar, and in 1758, it was noted that Biscarbó belonged to the priory of the Order of Malta, the former Hospitaller monks.
