Valls d'Aguilar

Romanesque church with a single nave, ending to the east in a semicircular apse and covered by a barrel vault. The original structure has been significantly modified, with the addition of a lateral nave on the north side and two side chapels on the south. The current entrance is located on the southern wall of the expanded section, but it is preceded by two now-sealed doors: one on the south façade and another on the west façade, which is topped by an oculus. A bell-gable rises from the southwest corner of the building. The church of Sant Esteve is mentioned in 839 in a sale of houses and lands in the valley of Elins.
