The Church of Sant Serni of Gavarra has been documented since the year 1046. It is a heavily modified Romanesque church. It currently consists of a nave ending in a quadrangular structure that replaces the original apse. The nave is covered with a barrel vault reinforced by transverse arches. The windows that illuminate the temple and the entrance door are the result of various renovations. The bell tower, with a circular cross-section, is the most notable feature of the complex, although it was altered around 1922, when its upper level was replaced by a double-arched bell gable. It still preserves two paired windows. The Church of Saint Saturninus was built in the 11th century. Inside, it houses a Baroque altarpiece from the 17th century, the only one of its kind preserved in situ in the entire region.
